MUDr. Jana Koželuhová, Ph.D. works with the problems of gastrointestinal diseases, including voiding disorders, at the Center for Pelvic-floor Disorders. She works at the gastroenterology unitat the 1st department of internal medicine, University Hospital, Pilsen - Lochotin. She is a committee member of the Czech Gastroenterology Society of the Czech Medical Society of Jan Evangelista Purkyně and a member of the working group for idiopathic inflammatory bowel diseases. She participates in the development of national professional guidelines. Apart from general gastroenterology and endoscopy, she specializes particularly in idiopathic bowel inflammation – Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, particularly during pregnancy. Over the last ten years she has devoted herself to the problems of voiding disorders – fecal incontinence and dyssynergic defecation, which often results in constipation. In order to confirm functional disorders of the anal sphincter, she performs anorectal manometries.
